Now, for those who might not be familiar, Knight Rider was a popular TV show from the '80s, and it featured a talking car called KITT, equipped with a mesmerizing LED display that moved back and forth like a red light scanner. This LED effect became known as the "Knight Rider" effect, and it's what I got the chance to work on.

For coding beginners, when working with Arduino or similar microcontroller platforms, we often use the digitalWrite function to control digital pins, such as turning LEDs on and off. Instead of repeating digitalWrite multiple times for multiple LEDs, we can use a for loop to simplify the code. I’ve provided the code for each pattern below. Note that in Pattern #6, I've used a nested loop to create an alternating pattern.

In conclusion, the LED Knight Rider project was a lot of fun for me. It reminded me of the importance of strong foundations in learning. Just like they say, "Rome wasn't built in a day," and I found that starting with the basics made a big difference. Thanks to what I learned at Kidocode, I was able to apply those basics, and surprisingly, it made completing this project quite easy. It goes to show that having a solid understanding of the basics can make even complex projects feel manageable.

This project is significant not just because it's my third internship project but also because it's my way of saying goodbye to Kidocode, the place where I've been learning and growing.

As my internship is coming to an end, I embarked on my third internship project, and this one is quite close to my heart. It's a project that my supervisor and co supervisor, Muhammad Firdaus Badauraudine and Muhammad Ikhmal , entrusted to me, and it involves creating something really cool with LEDs, similar to what you might have seen in the Knight Rider TV series.

Arduino: The ‘brain’ of our project, the Arduino microcontroller, will be responsible for controlling the LEDs and making them dance in that signature style.
