Ledheadlight dimensions

thanks heaps for that steven, also am assuming that to take out the headlight globes i have to twist n take them out as I had a look, and that's how it seems they'll come out. ?? and also so both the normal beam globe and the parkers are in wedge shaped holders eh? only the high beam ones seem to be plugged in straight..

awesome! thanks for the help mate! Read all about having to toast the headlights to rip them open ANd then shove in the globes.. sigh bit of a relief that it wasnt true . and thanks for the fantastic explanatory pics

okay thanks for that mate. i had bought H7 foj supercheap on their recommendation. Will get it exchanged for H1. The parkers are wedge shaped arent they?

second linky: Xenons dont fit into skyline headlights (most anyway) which is why HID's are around... but a lot of people here poo poo them cause its a very bright light, and not very well focused... a lot of people coming the other way wont like you very much...

CANBUS compatible Function: 4, Brake / Tail / Indicator / Number Plate Volts: 12V Contains: LH & RH Rear Lights, Transmitter & Charger

could some please tell me what size they are? Am desperate to know have posted in other threads, yet no one's sure. Appreciate it. Cheers.

top is the parker... you can see the globe and the holder... to get it out you have to get your hand on it, and twist the whole thing out... theres not much room so it kinda sucks... you only need the bulb part if you want to buy a new one...

I've got the Phillips Blue Vision in there now and they aren't very white. More just like a minor improvement over the standards.

you have 4 all up, all are H1's... when you flick your high beams on, one set turns off, the other turns on... the light is directed differently...

you need to do a bit more to get that award steve... watday reckon go into the s2 r33 foglamps? H1 as well?? supercheap reckons so.. but we all know how reliable they r...

Thanks for that info! But if I was to go with the globes (white light look) would I need a set for the normal headlights & a set for the hi-beams aswell? I take it I need H1s yeah?

lol buddy welcome to the club.. i got the very same ones and there's zilch improvement. thatz am returning them tomorrow and will get a 100W xenon off ebay or something..

theres a picture of one on and one off... with the one thats off, there is normally a metal holder in there where the globe goes in...

okay now i am confused.sorry, I thought parkers were the globes that turn on before you turn on the main headlight. The main headlight globes seem to be enclosed in a wedge shaped holder. and the high beam headlight globes somehow seem to be matching the stuff i got from supercheap. So in a bit of a muddle mate. Am attaching the H7's i got .. havent exchanged for the H1's yet., but let me know if these are for the high beam or for the normal headlights. Thanks Steven.

xenons wont fit into a s2 r33?? :blink:// lol thatz what my entire discussion has been about.... sigh.. the xenons i got are from supercheap.. they said it should fit..

First linky: You can get stuff like that at pretty much any car accesories store... autobahn etc... they can probably even order in some cool ones they dont bother to shelf for you but that guy seems alright, if you want those exact ones, they are baout the same price... just make sure you get the right type...

in the end, Xenons are 'the best' but i only know of one skyline that has them... and hes in the UK they are a super bright, super white light and the cut off is perfect... HID's are second, then your normal type bulbs...
