The knuckle plate is connected to the quick tach plate by a large pin that gives the Angle Snow Blade +/- 4 degrees of rotational oscillation. This system allows the Angle Snow Blade to travel across uneven areas and still maintain solid contact with the ground.

The tension is set by the springs and is non-adjustable. The edge cannot be locked out because if an object is hit hard enough the edge is designed to trip. Locking out the trip edge could damage the attachment, the skid steer, or worse the operator. Locking out the trip edge should never be done.

To minimize setup time, Virnig Manufacturing requires the machine brand and model to be listed in every order for attachments with hydraulic components. This ensures proper hose length, routing, and coupler sizing. In addition, all hydraulic Virnig Attachments are tested for leaks and proper operation before leaving the factory. There may be specific scenarios in which additional setup time will be required.

Because trip edge integrity is determined by down pressure, it is difficult to properly use your plow on unpacked dirt or gravel without destroying the surface. By using the machine tilt and arms to keep the blade slightly above the ground, you will build a base of hard packed snow and ice. Once the hard pack is set, down pressure may be applied. This is the most effective method to keep the edge from tripping.

We use 3M and Oracal Vinyl for our Signs and Hard Hat Stickers.ORACAL has a thickness of 2.5mil .  Using a clear, solvent-based, permanent adhesive. The vinyl has a durability rating of up to six (6) years. Note: The durability will depend on the elements, any corrosive liquids making contact etc.If you pick the Aluminum option it will have the 6yr vinyl affixed to a .040 Aluminum Blank with 4 holes punched in the corners for ease of installation.
