W. R. MEADOWS proudly offers the AIR-SHIELD line of fluid-applied air barriers. Various formulations are available, including low temperature, vapor permeable, and synthetic rubber. Products in the line are engineered to meet VOC regulations across North America. The products also meet specifications set forth by ASTM, ABAA, NFPA, and more. The AIR-SHIELD line has been specifically formulated to act as air, vapor, and liquid moisture barrier within the building envelope. The products may be applied to most common surfaces and integrated into various wall systems.

The rationale for non-permeable air barriers (fluid-applied or self-adhered sheet) is based on a number of factors. The most notable of these is the code-driven mandate for exterior continuous insulation in many climate zones.
