11. The only song on the album that was not written in collaboration is "Wild in the Streets", the song that closes the album and was written by Jon Bon Jovi alone.

14. One of the songs that almost was not included in the album is "Livin' on a Prayer" which Bon Jovi felt was not good enough, but Richie Sambora believed it would be a huge hit and indeed he was right.

It included different words and was called "If You Were a Woman (And I Was a Man)", but Desmond Child Child who was disappointed with it's failure decided to rewrite it along with John and Richie.
