It is a safe and easy to use treatment for both hermetic and semi-hermetic compressors of virtually any size that operates with Polyol Ester lubricants. Acid Away® for POE has been tested in accordance with ANSI/ASHRAE Standards 86-1983 and 97-1989, and various ASTM standards. ApplicationsACID AWAY® FOR POE may be used to neutralize the residual acid that remains in a refrigeration or air conditioning system after a compressor burnout has occurred and a new compressor has been installed. ACID AWAY® FOR POE may be used for preventative maintenance in operating refrigeration and air conditioning systems where acid buildup is detected, but a compressor changeout is not yet needed. ACID AWAY® FOR POE may be used in virtually any size hermetic or semi-hermetic compressor that utilizes a Polyol Ester lubricants. ACID AWAY® FOR POE may be used in recovery, recycling and reclaiming equipment that operate on Polyol Ester lubricants to neutralize the acid found in old recaptured refrigerants and refrigeration oils. PACKAGING: metal container in its own boxThe 4 fluid ounce unit is a convenient size for use in dosage amounts suitable for treating a broad range of compressor sizes and acid concentrations.
