So my company GPS routed me to i175, onto this 421 - onto - 1975 - through 169 and finally into Nicholasville's Main Street.

This trip was from my first month and it was a scary experience because I blindly followed my instructors wisdom of always follow your truck GPS, because it will take you down truck friendly/legal roads.

What I learned from this experience was to cross reference my route with Trucker Path, Google Earth (street view) and try to re-route myself through a much better route. Since then, I haven't had a situation like this (yet). With that said, I still don't understand the roadway system other than interstate roads.

Well, that wasn't the case with this trip, because I went through narrow roads, blind turns, hills and an actual residential neighborhood.
