The light bar itself would be about 24" long and in between two panels of the front grill. The red light would slide left to right and back. No blue lights. Nothing but a darker red color.

Title says it all. I want to create and install a red scrolling light bar, a la Knight Rider. I don't want it to be used against me or be arrested for impersonating an officer. There are always myths and legends of people getting screwed because of innocent mistakes and I'd rather avoid that.
