This year, sales of “Treasures from the Museum” will benefit the Newport Art Museums’ growing collection. The Museum is home to over 2700 paintings, drawings, photographs, prints, and sculptures. Proceeds from the sale of “Treasures” will be used toward acquiring new works of art and caring for the works the Museum currently owns. The “Treasures from the Museum” are works of art that were given to the Museum to auction in order to benefit the Museum.
Wet Paint² will combine the beloved Silent Auction of original artist-donated artwork with family-friendly activities, music, and more. Every year, hundreds of artworks, including many that are “still wet,” are created by artists of all ages and techniques. All proceeds benefit the Museum’s exhibitions, acquisitions, and collection care. Don’t miss it!
