Hazard symbols and meanings

Use these safety signs to warn employees that the area is radioactive to prevent accidental exposure. They are an effective part of helping your facility comply with Department of Energy and 10 CFR 835.601 standards. They are available in your choice of self-adhesive, plastic, or aluminum in 10" x 7" or 14" x 10" (w x h).

Traffic signs match MUTCD Highway Sign Standards.  Signs are made with reflective sheeting applied to .080" aluminum with rounded radius corners and pre-punched 3/8" holes to meet Federal MUTCD, ASTM and ATSSA specifications.

Radiation Signmeaning

These yellow signs feature a magenta OSHA-style CAUTION header, two magenta radiation symbols at the bottom corners, and the magenta text of "RADIATION AREA" between the two symbols.

Most orders will ship UPS Ground or FedEx Ground. Expedited shipping is not available. Shipping cost will be added to all orders unless prior quotes have been provided.

Many of our items are required to ship freight. Items that ship by freight truck cannot be sent to a residential address.
