The lens of the headlamps features a unique, forward-sloped design without a bezel to help prevent "ice bridging" when plowing. Ice bridging is a common problem with some LED headlamps that can reduce visibility and hinder performance by allowing ice to thaw and then refreeze in front of the lens.

The NIGHTHAWK LED Headlamps feature exclusive EdgeView Technology. With this technology, a dedicated lens and LED bulb directs light through the outer edge of each headlamp to provide a full 180 degrees of light visibility, illuminating the plow from edge to edge for the best and safest all-around view of the plow's operating environment.

Enhanced solid-optic elements for both low and high beams focus the light into a specifically tuned pattern, shining the light exactly where it needs to be, rather than relying on reflectors to try to aim the light outward. The result is a wider, fuller and brighter light pattern in low beam and high beam so operators have better visibility while driving and plowing.
