Swingbridge sign

The hump bridge sign means there is an incoming hump bridge that is so severe that without warning, a driver may lose control.

This sign is supplied CE marked and is made from road grade materials, it has a long lifespan and will stand the test of time.

You should find this sign installed, with a distance plate, on the approach to the bridge’s junction where vehicles can divert, and repeated at the standard siting distance from the bridge. Refer to the Traffic Signs Manual for further details on standard siting distances.
