Air signs also vibe with fire signs (again, that's Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius). These two are what’s called “congenial elements,” which basically means that even though they’re different, they’re a natural fit for each other. Think of air stoking a fire to make even brighter flames. (Air and water signs or air and earth signs though? Not such a great fit.)

Aquarius is a fixed air sign, meaning it falls in the middle of a season (winter) and is known to be stubborn. They’re represented by the water bearer because they give knowledge to the world. Aquarians are the humanitarians of the zodiac, and they speak to and for the collective. They process situations, relationships, and news at a deeper and slower pace than the other air signs because they’re focused on the big picture—they’re trying to see how the information they learn can help society evolve.

Libra is a cardinal air sign, meaning it comes at the start of a season (fall) and is known to be a leader. Intellectual Libras critique art and society as they help shape the world. And the rumors are true—they’re the flirts of the zodiac. They’re also *the* sign of relationships and they’re always crushing on someone. And someone’s probably crushing on them too—they’re ruled by Venus, which means they’re just naturally attuned to all things having to do with beauty and pleasure.

As the sign represented by the twins, Geminis embrace fluidity in life and try to understand all sides of a situation, thanks to their dualistic nature. They’re the ones sharing important news, truth, and gossip. Haters say they’re two-faced, but as mutable signs, they are actually just really socially flexible and know how to move from social group to social group. They also don’t take things too seriously, so think twice before starting an argument over something a Gem said—they might not even have meant it!

Our long-term, short-term, and offer emergency chemical storage buildings and hazardous material handling solutions are customized to meet each of our unique customer's risk management and safety investment needs.

Of course, each of these modalities come along with their own personality traits attached, too. Cardinal signs like Libra are natural leaders and trendsetters; fixed signs like Aquarius are loyal, stubborn, and determined; and mutable signs like Gemini are adaptable, curious, and open-minded.

Looking to avoid additional expenditures, many facilities forego separate and compliant chemical storage for dangerous chemical compounds. As with the Taiwanese golf ball manufacturer, the results can be disastrous. Taiwanese law requires that organic peroxides be stored in a separate warehouse building. Instead, plant officials kept the material on the first floor of the building. While unrelenting in scope, the fire could’ve been even more catastrophic had the flames reached the copious supply of dangerous chemicals left carelessly on the factory floor. Our fire-rated chemical storage lockers can safeguard large quantities of organic peroxide behind reinforced solid steel welds and explosion relief panels that can protect vulnerable employees within proximity of the powerful additive. Climate control and mechanical ventilation affixed to the interior of our chemical storage warehouses prevents thermal degradation and subsequent fires. Standard fire suppression system is yet another layer of protection offered by our lockers in keeping your employees safe. Contact us today for a free quote.

There’s one air sign for each modality—which, BTW, classifies zodiac signs by whether they fall in the beginning of a season (cardinal signs), middle of a season (fixed signs), or end of a season (mutable signs). Libra is a cardinal sign, Aquarius is a fixed sign, and Gemini is a mutable sign.

The world is filled with raw materials that create millions of everyday items with common applications. But how do manufacturers transform such simple items into products that we take for granted? With a little help of chemistry. Scientists rely on complex chemical compounds to rearrange organic molecules of raw materials into polymers, plastics, rubber and textiles that power the economy while keeping our shelves lined with the latest goods. Organic peroxide is one of these powerful molecular additives used for the production of car parts, windshields, packing materials, wood substitutes, composites and elastomers. With such powerful chemistry to create conveniences of life comes heightened risks and responsibility. Organic peroxide is thermally unstable, so it should be stored in approved containers in well-ventilated and climate controlled areas away from incompatible materials.

Air signs are the thinkers, communicators, and doers of the zodiac. They analyze, synthesize, and probe. They breeze through life, never stopping to catch their breath. They have a “live and let live” mentality, and their intelligence helps them make decisions easily. These smarty-pants lead with their *brains* (unlike, say, water signs, who lead with their hearts/feels).

Famous Aquarians: Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion, Shakira, Oprah Winfrey, Yara Shahidi, Kerry Washington, Emma Roberts, Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Aniston, Paris Hilton

Gemini is a mutable air sign, meaning it comes at the end of a season (spring, in this case) and is known to be flexible. This chatty sign has the ability to understand situations from a mile away, which helps them make decisions easily. There’s no right or wrong way to think or act, according to Gemini.

A Taiwanese golf ball manufacturer is facing the wrath of health and safety officials after an explosion that followed a fire at the plant killed nine people, including four firefighters. Adding anger to the smoldering conflagration is the apparent negligence of the company’s management. Authorities allege the plant illegally kept 3,000 tons of organic peroxides on site, far surpassing the legal limit of 100 tons. While it’s unclear what caused the fire, indignant Taiwanese officials said the staff failed to apprise approaching firefighters of the chemical payload onsite. Had the firefighters known of the dangers ahead, they could’ve potentially devised a more suitable point of entry instead of barreling straight into a den of despair.

FYI, elements are always four signs away from each other: For air signs, Gemini is the third sign of the zodiac, Libra is the sixth, and Aquarius is the ninth. This degree of separation is something astrologers call “trine,” and they’re considered especially harmonious. Basically, this trine brings good vibes and means that air signs tend to get along with other air signs, whether as friends, partners, lovers, family members, or even coworkers. They just ~get~ each other, y’know?

You can learn more about yourself by looking at the elements that appear in your birth chart. If your Sun, Moon, or Rising sign is a air sign, you'll probably relate at least some air sign traits—smart, flirty, fun, etc. But even if air signs aren't present in your Big Three, look to where they appear in your birth chart to see where that air influence is strongest.

Aquarius is sometimes called the “weirdo” or “alien” of the zodiac because they march to the beat of their own drum. They tend to be innovative, unique thinkers who come up with out-of-the-box ideas that are actually pretty genius. The water bearer is always living in the future!

Additives, such as organic peroxide, can be added to the base polymer to improve processability and longevity of finished goods. While polymer additives have a welcomed place in any stage of manufacturing, project managers should exercise vigilance and caution in storing the dangerous compounds when not in use. Like other volatile compounds, organic peroxide can quickly decompose if exposed to high temperatures or inadvertent contamination with incompatible materials, such as sulfides, nitride and hydrides. Aside from the risk of flammability, organic peroxide may also cause eye or skin irritation to employees who fail to properly handle and store the toxic compound. Always consult the safety data sheet for organic peroxide if stored at your manufacturing facility.

Air signs are also the most forgiving signs of the zodiac—they can tell the difference between acting out and just plain old meanness, and they understand that in moments of strong emotion, people can say and do things to can hurt others. Not that they’d ever do the same! Their cool, collected vibe helps them navigate the drama, but although they’re mostly fair-minded, their gift of perspective means they can run colder than the other elements and might seem aloof compared to, say, an emotional water sign. (Sorry, water signs, you know I love you.)

Not to toot my own horn—because I am an air sign—but air signs are the leaders of society. They have the ability to see situations from an intellectual perspective without being clouded by emotion. They can come off as cold or even unfeeling, but they def do have emotions—they just like to keep them private instead of wearing them on their sleeve. You have to earn them; they’ll only let their most trusted loved ones in. Air signs are all about ideas, achievements, and correct information. They’re always focused on the details—and yes, that means they’ll point out every typo. If you need someone to think of a brilliant idea and then follow it through, call an air sign.

In astrology, there are four elements (fire, water, earth, and air) that categorize and describe the 12 zodiac signs. Today, let’s talk air. The three air signs are Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius (and just FYI, the water signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, and the fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius).

As the sign of the scales, Libras are all about balance. They’re known for their ability to make fair decisions, but it often takes them a long time to make a choice because they can relate to both sides—which is why they can be indecisive and tend to go to others for advice. They just want to be super sure they’re making the right decision!
